Starting year

To be an ideal knowledge resource centre in the state for obtaining education in Civil Engineering at the under graduate, post graduate and research levels and to produce professionally competent Civil Engineers with right attitude towards social responsibility accomplishing global needs.

Year of establishment: 2011 (UG) & 2014 (PG)

Courses & Intake

The Department of Civil Engineering was started with a sanctioned intake of 60 in the year 2011.

The annual sanctioned intake was increased to 120 in the academic year 2014-15 and further intake sanctioned of 24 M.Tech structural seats in the

academic year 2014-15.

The department aims to enrich the knowledge of students in both theory and p equipped with laboratory facilities having advanced equipments and machineries operated by concerned technicians.

Students are encouraged to actively participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in reputed institutions all over India and will be suitably rewarded by the management. The department conducts various placement activities and certified value added training programs like Total station training course, Estimation and costing, Planning and Design of structures by experts.

Every academic year Civil Engineering Students Association activities will be inaugurated by eminent personalities in the field of Civil Engineering. The department organized National level Technical Symposium, “SAPTHAVARNA-2014” year as a part of Civil Engineering Students Association activities.
